Dress Me In The Sky
I normally would not post a ‘portrait’ picture of myself on my blog.. but this photo came about as I was exploring Pteron for the first time this evening, and the way it came out was so interesting to me, that I wanted to share it.
I had already positioned myself by an open window overlooking the water, and started toying with my windlight presets to get a nice shot. I liked this setting a lot and took the picture. But it wasn’t until I was really studying it later that I noticed something neat about it. The colors in the sky mirror the colors in the dress, almost perfectly. Burgandy blending to pink, fading to purple.. set against black. Just like in this dress I got last year from the lucky chair at the Carnival of Doom.
I really don’t do any sort of official art or photography using pictures of myself, so there is nothing I can do with this photo. But it turned out so unexpectedly nice, I had to at least blog it so it doesn’t go to waste.
