S&S Gallery Of Fine Arts

As most of you have probably noticed, art has a very strong presence in Second Life. There are countless artists out there, and more are making themselves known every day. The styles range between classic and digital art, photography and sculptures.

I have seen some remarkable artwork being created, and I love visiting the various galleries. One of the best I have seen is the S&S Gallery of Fine Arts, run by Stefanik Dagostino. Stefanik has a true passion for art, and it shows in the work he’s put into his gallery. He is always looking for ways to improve the gallery to make it a beautiful and relaxing environment for the patrons and artists who come to visit. The gallery is quite active, with events or art exhibitions being held at least a few times a week. There is a group you can join to find out about the current events or new artwork being released.

Often times, there will be a free art piece available from a featured artist. Currently, “Confusion” by Alex Philo is being offered until Monday, August 18th.

The gallery itself is huge, and is made up of several sections such as the Garden, the Esplanade, The Underdown, the Under Under, and more. You really have to look around and explore to find them all.

Brenda Hoisin also has a small shop where she sells low prim furniture, located in the Esplanade.

Here at the S&S Gallery, you will find some amazing works by acclaimed artists such as Sunn Thunders, Citizen Zhao, Dieudonnee Beaumont, Davin Romano, and many others. Please come by and take a look around. And don’t forget to pick up the free artwork by Alex Philo. It is located in the main gallery, not far from the landing point.
